The Week Above is a weekly astrological "weather report" detailing the major planetary configurations for the week ahead. All times given are in Eastern Time. There will be references to your birth chart and your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs throughout. If you aren't sure of what that means, check out Astrodienst for free online chart drawings, and Cups & Crowns for the basics of how to understand a drawn chart.
Not as much going on this week, so I’m gonna keep it short and sweet for you.
Mercury stations Direct - December 6th
Thus do we walk about of the Mishap Woods.
This Merc Ret has been a wild one. Letters lost in the mail, paperwork reshuffled or missing, transportation mishaps, disappearing books, miscommunications have abounded. Around December 6th as Mercury stations, we’ll get a bit more of it—maybe even in the couple of days afterwards. Hang in there; it’s just slapstick comedy after all.
Mars conjunct Neptune - December 7th
Tigers do poorly attempting to catch fish in the deep ocean.
Mars is action, will, drive, passion. In Pisces, he’s feeling a little more free-flowing about it. Conjunct Neptune, that free flow is likely to dissolve into nothingness.
Most people who feel this transit will feel listless, lethargic, energyless. A few days of lying on the fainting couch.
Granted, this is Neptune we’re talking about here, which is notorious for being slippery and hard to make predictions with. So this transit could also manifest as a transcendental experience made manifest through physical activity, or a drug-fueled, delusional rage. The latter is rare, but you’ll see something in the news about it if you look. Most people who feel this will be too tired for that.
This transit is most likely to affect you if your Sun, Moon, or Rising sign is in Aries or Scorpio, or in close aspect with Mars in your natal chart.
